At a local auction yesterday I have bought a large number of photographs. They are not necessarily connected to each other, these are the kinds of things that one finds in boxes of ephemera and photographs that have to be dug out. But I'm always amazed by the variety of this kind of work. So tonight, a short medley of four photos, all from different lots at the auction including. A beached whale, a somewhat striking-looking young man, a snapshot of Monty at Dalhousie University in 1946 receiving an honorary degree and another handsome young man, this time in what could be a footman's uniform.
