Vintage Venice... again

R had a day off today and so we jumped in the car and headed towards Hungerford a town which is known for its antiques and yet which we have never visited, despite the fact it is only an hour away. The antique centres lived up to our hopes and had a little something for everyone. I spent a happy hour or so denuding the postcard stall of all its Lehnert & Landrock images as well as a handful to add to my collection of Vintage Venice. These two above are two of the artist-painted postcards but I did also find some photographic ones, which you might be seeing shortly. I particularly like to look out for images (artistic or photographic) which are not just the run-of-the-mill tourist scenes like St Mark's Square, the Rialto and so on... I think the top one here qualifies in particular.

I should also say a big thank you to all who have taken an interest in recent posts, in particular the Beardsley post below. Having you folks around to fill in all the blanks for me is very much appreciated.
