Vintage Theatre Ephemera - Cambridge
A scanty internet search suggests that perhaps this theatre doesn't exist any more. These are the best items from a box of theatre ephemera that's recently invaded my study. They all date from between 1900-1907
Hmm, none of them wanting to give information about it's actual location XD. A bloke at my work who grew up in the late 40's and early 50's is often on about how Cambridge used to be, wonder if it was still around then?
Well, if you get a chance to ask, please feel free to add any pertinant info. The problem with trying any internet research is that any combination of "New" "Theatre" and "Cambridge" is just too vague to get good results... that's if, indeed, there is any information out there...
I am a bookcollector, bookdealer, publisher and writer living in Portsmouth on the South Coast of the UK.
This blog is my personal space for the recording of my numerous interests including science-fiction, victorian and vintage photography, gay literature, book design, typography, homoerotic artwork, the Amazon river, the books of Frederick Rolfe (Baron Corvo), Forrest Reid, sundry gay Victorian and Edwardian characters, Slash Fiction, Samuel R Delany, Vintage swimwear, Willard Price, Venice, and so on...
Alongside all of that you also get a personal journal of life and memoir and the self-therapy you have come to know and love from bloggers.

Hi Mike,
