Thank you to those who took the trouble to comment on my post below about Bronko and Bosko, the consensus being that they are two women in drag. The ever-resourceful R went digging around and thinks that he may have found a candidate for the lady on the left of the original picture, the appropriately named Miss Hetty King!

Hello. I am very sorry to say that I disagree with you with regard to Hetty King and the subjects in your two black and white photographs. I have many photographs of Miss King, both in costume as a male impersonator and in private dress. I wish I could be more positive about the subjects of your two photographs, but to me they look like two young people enjoying themselves, not professionals. PS - I very much enjoy your blog; fascinating things there, especially all the Corvo material.
